Making books is an integral part of other large scale or 3D works.
The intimate process of making a book mirrors the experience of the person handling it. 'From my hand to yours' is an aspect of bookmaking which I value.
In some of the books I have looked at the way the economics of agriculture and the changes in life styles have altered the production of food and the way we consume it.
In others, political or social issues are explored through decorative or architectural motifs, chosen or imposed, and what they might indicate of our lives and social context.
